Saminan was born in melodious and educated elementary, junior high, high school in melodious addition also took pesantren education. Then continued s1 Unsyiah Physics Education graduated in 1988. During college was entrusted as assistant of Physics Laboratory and trusted by friends become chairman of HIMAFI. Before becoming a lecturer, actively teaching in several high schools in Banda Aceh. In 1989 he was appointed as lecturer, then completed his master's degree in IKIP Bandung and graduated in 1995.

The subjects of basic physics, basic statistics, magnetism, and teaching and learning strategy of physics of choice Quran. In order to improve the knowledge of Quranic physics and charter education, I continued to S3 to UIN Ar-raniry and graduated in 2013. In the future (2017-2025) I plan to improve students' creativity through innovative and independent programs based on ethnosciences, thus giving birth to critical student thinking , reflective and integrity. The research is oriented towards the development of culture-based model and Islamic character in physics learning. The products of this study are in the form of books, modules and Student Worksheets and it is expected that these products will help teachers in teaching and learning process in class both through teacher training program and MGMP. Achievements are expected to enhance student creativity, self-confidence, and Islamic character
